It sucks that I can’t play my games online. When I heard about the update I immediately turned off my wifi for the PS4 and haven’t updated it. I’m just hoping Sony gives a new update

the update has destroyed my ps4 pro and is now freezing and my system is crashing. NOT SAFE IT CORRUPTS AND AND MAKES HARDRIVE SLOW

I keep on reading and hearing ppl/PS5 Snobs say "It's bc it's an old system and the HDD is failing."
Which is possible but I feel like this update has ruined and caused my files to be corrupted.

My game went to coming on slow to my screen just shows black the PlayStation symbol shows and go str8 to black screen what's weird tho safe mode still pops up it I need it

Mine is still bricked and debating on using the file Playstation provided. 🤔 If I use it, my console may be fixed or may not. The console was throwing connection errors before Bricking. Honestly don't know what to do!!

Still haven't updated my Pro (yet!) & I can't sign in to my PSN account unless I install 9.00
I am looking forward to playing the Dying Light special Halloween event Sunday but I dunno if it will even be available to me offline, as the additions leading up to it just didn't appear 🤔
I may just have to bite the proverbial bullet & hope there are no issues 🤞

I need help with my ps4.
I want to watch some drama online on Kdramahood from internet browser. I have watched different movies and drama online on different website. I had no problem at all. But now, i have problem. The video cannot play at all. I tried different website and different server but i cannot play or go fullscreen. I also cannot pause the video. It never respond to my controller. This has never happened before and i don't know why. Can you help me? I don't know if its a new update and my ps4 have been connected to wifi and had no problem at all

my ps4 got bricked yesterday it keeps rebotting in safe mode will an update fix that by any chance?

I accidentally updated right away without knowing anything, but thankfully nothing happened to mine. No problems at all, and I'm really just at ease knowing cbomb is fixed. Just lucky that nothing actually did happen I guess

I actually update it last week via USB stick and having the PS4 on safe mode. I read some reports that most of the problems was when people used the internet to update. I do recommend that if you do trough USB to format it to exFAT32 not FAT32, because the PS4 has trouble with FAT32. Worked for me with no flaws.

The 9.0 update corrupts the hdd hard drive so if someone's ps4 has difficults with this update you have to change your hard drive this is the only solution for now

I'll only update either sony fixes it or I get a backup system like Ps5 etc if something were to go wrong.
Thing is sony is really bad where I am and I've had issues with them in the past so I don't trust them.=/

To put it simply years ago I sent in a PSP to be repaired with the branch in my country. They sent it back claiming they fixed it and it was in the same broken condition as when I sent it. As a result I actually did what I would never do normally. I actually tried to fix it myself for the first time ever since there was no other way. I did a very good job for a first attempt.
So when it comes to sony I prefer having a backup or ability to fix it myself otherwise I don't risk it.

You should make that new video 9.03 for ps4 is out and if to many say oh it bricks my console then I know they someone is lying to get us all to turn on sony and my systems and everyone else I know 9.00 worked just fine now let's check out 9.03 and plz someone who has a dead cmos battery or removed there is the cmos still deactivated or did this update reverse and give us a time limit again on our systems if so I'm keeping my offline ps4 at 9.00

I really don't know why sony did this.if they want us to buy ps5 this is the dumbest way in my opinion.i really hope they release new version soon.
