Growing up in Michigan, Ginger Ale meant Vernors. My parents didnt allow soda pop but we could drink Vernors Ginger Ale becaue of its health benefits. Now the company sold out to Dr Pepper and moved operations to Texas. No longer aged four years in wooden casks. Its not the same anymore.

I go to my local liquor store and pick up a 2 liter bottle of Rock Creek ginger ale for about 1.60 a bottle. Not bad.
