I had to cry. This song means so much to me because of my grandfather who passed away a couple of years ago and he loved this song. Thank you for making it as beautiful as it should be

Hey mate, I know this is an old video and I listen to you regularly but I wanted to let you know that I learned to play the Uke on tour in Afghan in 2013. This was the song I learnt first, in your style, and I still sing it to my kids in this style.. it was my first dance song in 2022, and also the song of my stillborn daughter’s funeral, you’re a legend to us mate, you might never read this, but you’ll never know how much this variation of the song means to some insignificant bloke from the uk.
