Doesn't matter, it's about the expectancy. Winrate and risk reward should fit with a strategy and one's personality.

Win rate and risk-to-reward ratio are perfectly inversely correlated. When reward goes up, win rate cancels out. Risk-to-reward is completely useless, because the higher your reward, the more losses you take, cancelling out the perks you thought you would have gotten. Only successful traders use a 1:1, or like you do, trail stops based on fundamental shifts. Losers use more than a 1:1, because they are imposing their beliefs onto the markets, and they will get burned.

Nick, have you ever considered splitting risk into two positions, having a set target on one and trailing the other one as far as it rides out?

1:3 is the best.. when the price hit 1:2, move your SL to BEP(Entry price)

Agree with you .the only reason SMC does not suit me is coz it advices to have a small SL and 5X TP(MIN) with sniper entries .I favour 1:2 risk reward ratio

As a wyckoff smart money trader myself with very tight stop loss, RR is everything
I always enter a trade if the RR is at least 1:5
And still making money with 30 - 40 percent win rate

Hi, I wanna ask:
Let's say if I trade using 1:3 risk to reward ratio
Buy at 10usd
Sell at 9usd
Target at 13usd
Question: if the price goes up and you have 4 percent floating profit, do you do trailing stop? for example at 2 percent? Or just stick to the plan until hit 13usd as target?
Thank you in advance! :)

The perfect entry would change anyways. Because stop loss hunts are real thing and every trader is trading the same way then there will definitely be a hunt.
