Installing FFmpeg on macOS Catalina (without Macports)

Hi, RickMakes! I tried to follow your tutorial but when clicked the website to download FFMPEG, there's no "Static and shared builds for macOS 64-bit" aka the second option. So I had to just download the first option 😭
When i unzipped the file, it shows "Use -h to get full help or, even better, run 'man ffmpeg'" and I have no idea what it means.
Can you please help me? Thank you!

for some reason when i clicked the apple icon static and shared builds didnt pop up. only static builds

As far as I can tell, I followed your excellent tutorial and FFmpeg, ffpbobe, and ffplay are all installed on my Mac (Catalina) and free from security constraints. I am trying to use this on Krita as a plugin companion. When I try to launch the plugin -- Animation Reference -- I get the following error message: 

"There are some things this plugin needs. You need to fix these and relaunch the plugin to try again. 

FFmpeg is not found. 
If you are on Windows, you will additionally need to add your FFmpeg location to your PATH environment variable. I [the plugin author; not me] add this entry to my existing PATH variable...C:\ffmpeg\bin.

ffpbobe is not found. 
This comes included when you install FFmpeg. This will probably start working when FFmpeg is found." [end of error message]

There are no instructions in the error message for what to do on the Mac, thus I've turned to you. My echo $PATH is: /usr/local/bin /usr/bin /bin /usr/sbin /sbin /Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Public /usr/local/bin.

Can you help me? 

(Also, thank you for all your hard work you've put in on this video and the previous one. You do fantastic tutorials. Very to-the-point, no extra stuff, and easy to follow. If I could Like this video 1000 times, I would.)

I checked & "Static & Shared" disappeared from the link, I dunno what else should I do to get the ffmpeg?
