Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. Worked perfectly on MacOS Big Sur.

Side note to this: You can simply make a folder called ffmpeg within your opentoonz folder and add the 3 extracted terminal exec(s). I double clicked a ran all of them first (not sure if that actually did anything). You telling us we need to downlaod the 3 different files was a life saver though

I was losing my mind wondering why I couldn't get it to work. Thank you for making such an easy to understand tutorial for Mac users!

Bedankt, ik heb dagen doorgemodderd en dit werkt direct. Het was alleen nog even zoeken welk pad ik in opentoonz in moest geven zodat hij hem ook vond. Bedankt voor de heldere uitleg.

I cant get past the step at 2:45 since my download folder is very full and doesnt just have the 3 files. What do I do? I tried to make a new folder for them but it says: No such file or directory

If you are still getting permission errors after doing the unquarantine bit, do the following:

1. Navigate to the folder where ffmpeg files reside: sudo cd /usr/local/bin
2. Change the permissions of all (three) ff files: sudo chmod 755 ff*

Enter your password as needed. Worked for me :)

I got through the video alright, but when I tried to have it run ffmpeg (like just typed "ffmpeg" and hit enter), it says "zsh: command not found: ffmpeg" but it is in the usr/local/bin. HELP!

Hi Rick! Thank you for the detailed instructions. I am using MacOS Monterey and after creating "usr/local/bin" and copied "ff*" into it, when i type "ls usr/local/bin", i'm still getting the "no such file or directory" error. How do i proceed from there? Thank you so much!

Hi Rick, Thanks! I followed the steps. But when I try to execute the files it says : run 'man FFmpeg' or -h
I tried to allocate FFmpeg to opentoonz import/export but no files or path is found by opentoonz. Am I missing something?
