How good is a Summit Racing branded Impact? vs WalMart, Amazon, Harbor Freight & Milwaukee

‎On the suggestion of our viewers, we bought the new line of cordless tools from Summit Racing, their brushless impact wrench. Is it any good? We take a look up against the new addition from the Amazon brand Avid Power in their ACIW340, Walmart 20V HyperTough and Harbor Freight Hercules.

"Packing it up early like a general contractor that you paid all up front" -- 🤣

That HT impact is on clearance at my Walmart for $30 right now. And for $30, there is nothing to be upset about.

I miss K-Mart, imagine how good a Kraco Impact would be.

Thanks for possessing integrity in a time, on a platform, in a culture where it’s absent.

Measuring mid-lower end tools(after the best), you’re doing the “least advantaged” genuinely huge favors. Very cool.

You have to test the new line up of hyper tough tools that just came out this week! They gave the tool you just tested a refresh! Then added a mid torque! And a high torque! All below 100!! Each one comes with a 4ah battery!!!! Finally good to see some competition on the budget end!

I love that "cheap" tools are so much better these days. Do I have expensive tools, yes but its great to have "cheap" tools to just get used in nasty places or get thrown around and not break the bank.

If you do another episode like this Menards has a brand of power tools they carry as well that I would like to see tested. I think they are called Masterforce

Your channel is among the top 5 that I watch and subscribe to. I own quite a few Milwaukee cordless tools, but every now and then I just can't resist a bargain, even when I really don't need another of the same tool I already have. (I'm sure it's a mental disorder, but I don't want to be cured either.) Regardless, I just wanted to say that of all the videos you've created, the ones that evaluate cheap, off-brand cordless tools are my favorites.

7:03 that comment about the general contractor felt personal haha

Considering Summit's primary customer base, I would think they would actually offer decent tools instead of the basement junk

Should try the CAT power tools with graphene batteries curious how they do you don’t see them much. Also dewalt has new “ hydraulic drive impact driver” curious how that does in its class and what makes it different internally. A video on it would be great 👍🏼. Awesome channel btw more info than all others!

Grainger sells Westward wrenches and tools, which I think is their house brand. ALSO, K Mart branded wrenches that are made in Japan can still be found on ebay.

Love my hyper tough battery tools. They’re for home projects and the red stuff (m18/12) stays at work

Could you test Festool. I don’t think their impact driver is built for torque, but made to be very ergonomic. After all, you don’t need 250 ftlb to drive a deck screw.

I found that I could trim the small tabs off the batteries to make them fit other models
