Take your weight in pounds & multiply it by 705. Then divide it twice by your height in inches.
Example: 125 x 705 = 88, 125
88, 125 / 64 = 1, 376.96
1, 376.95 / 64 = 21.5 ⬅️ that’s your BMI

I was obese 2x in my life…once as a kid (class 2 obese) and once as an adult (class 1) during the pandemic. From experience, knowing your weight, BMI, and waist to hip ratio are all great measures of health! I shared how to calculate the waist to hip ratio recently using my own measurements recently in a video. People don’t know that visceral fat surrounding the organs will build up in overweight and obese people. This can cause many health issues down the road. So despite what people tell you, having a healthy BMI is better. Health at all sizes is a lie. I had pre-diabetes during the pandemic, which kickstarted my weight loss journey, again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Even when my BMI was under 25, I still had a huge belly. Like bigger than some people with a heavier BMI or even a BMI close to 30
