When you use NAS setup method, does it matter if it's wireless or hardwired? Or does it work with both?

I have a question. Can I set it to record for example 24 hours maximum and it automatically start recording over it the next day. Or I have to delete it manually?

Is there a way to setup saving to a network path instead of an IP? It seems to only be supported from running the desktop application.
