I can do a thumb fan but I just can't figure out how you do it so perfectly! It looks like a circle when you do it but mine are like a half circle

If your whole deck is moving then it means you should get a smother deck. Either you have broken in the cards really well and they start clumping like most cards, or you just have clumpy cards and should consider getting a bicycle deck every once in awhile

Those who are finding the thumb fan difficult, try spreading the cards with your index finger instead of your thumb. Hope it helps as it helped me. Peace!

I recoment using paper cards. I tried this with my vegas premium plastic deck and the cards stuck together. The paper ones work better in my opinion.
