His biological mother seems to be so loving and kind, no wonder he could never forget her. They have a special bond.

I as an Indian just wanna thank that Australian family for taking him. If they didn't take him away, I don't know if that child could have a better life.
Mother's are great whether it's Australia or India. Australian mother kept on motivating his child to search irrespective of the insecurity of losing her child.
An Indian mother on the other side kept on waiting for her child.
Sarroo super proud of u. Never leave hope.

What an extraordinary story. So one brother was lost that day and went on to get a brand new life in Australia, the other brother died that same day. Saroo is remarkable and Saroo's real mother lost two sons the same day, my heart goes out to her. Incredible story.

I literally cried when she said “you can take my son with you. He is your son”.
Only mothers will sacrifice all they have to see their children happy.
It doesn’t mean all mothers does that. There are some bad and selfish mothers too, unfortunately.

How could you not instantly adore the person who took care of your baby when you couldn't? This story is painfully beautiful all around. I'm bawling.

My story is similar to Saroo's. I was trafficked out of Calcutta, India by the International Mission of Hope and sold to an American family. I hope to one day find my birth family.

When the mothers held each other, that was the moment. It's unbelievable how all of this must have happened.

I found my fathers biological family over 70 years after he was given away up adoption. I found his brother and his nephew and their massive family. We spoke for a few days, trying to get ahold of his brother specifically. But he wanted nothing to do with my father. To be fair my father was born from an affair but I can't imagine the heartbreak. I finally found them for him and they didn't want him. His adopted family though, will always be his real family. These stories don't always end up the happiest sadly, thankfully this one did.
