The modern day Marlboro Challenge for all of us old school IndyCar people from the CART era... Bring back both Michigan & Pocono as well and add $1million if a driver can win two of them & $2.5million if a driver wins all 3...

Say what you all want, but I love this track. There's so few tracks in USA now that wants and can host IndyCar. So with a not bad facility, I'm glad Thermal is promoted to points-paying race and I hope they stay long. Thank you Thermal Club owners for giving IndyCar a track to race!

Happy IndyCar tried something new, but thank god it’s gone. Hope them returning for a normal race next year will make the racing even better with all 27 cars!

So a Rich person, group or development company put this together but couldn't be bothered to make the pavement smooth? I wonder how the houses were built. It's not a terrible layout but the facilities are bare bones. Some segments might need tweaking for a series this fast.
First, smooth the surface. Turn 6 is too slow for turn 7 passing so maybe slightly bank 6 and start opening the radius earlier and more gradual. Slightly reprofile 8 to make room in the middle of the facility, then redesign 15-17 to create a better passing zone into 15 and into turn 1. Maybe also add slight banking for 1, 9, 14 to allow for multiple lines and higher exit speed.

Side note: I don't understand the mandatory assisting and holding onto the racer marshals do. You can observe and guide to the medical facility. Don't hang onto the driver while they are irate.
The track has more than enough room to improve safety and get different series there.
