Great to see a side by side comparison of the two. Personally I go with the 6455b more often mainly because of its 60s aesthetics and sideboard with crane, but the 6436 is always nice to come back to when the going gets tough

In past, There was a big gap between western star 49X and tayga 6436. you had to choose between having a "crane+bed+ trailer combo" or having a far better off-road ability. that's why they added tayga 6455b to this game.
Sure it's not an OP truck(because they don't want to make the game easy for you) but it's versatile and lovely to drive

I use my 6455B for long logs, but I really wish they made it capable of having a logging crane as well. It certainly has the room for it.

The only thing I don't like about the 6455B is that it just isn't needed. It basically does the same as 6436 and vorons plus why do we get ANOTHER russian truck with american map? American off-road trucks are really lacking in numbers in the game, while theres loads of choices in russian trucks. The maine region is quite difficult, which in my opinion was a great opportunity to add a new American off-road truck to the game that will be more capable than the others. At the moment from the american off-road trucks by pure performance ANK is the best, but doesnt have addons and it burns fuel like crazy.

5:49 The 6455B has a crane that makes the car heavy. The test is not objective. The "king" has an advantage in the absence of modules.

cool competitions, thats exactly what other SR-Gamers felt like about those trucks.

Now I do wonder if the Tayga 6455B is better than Voron D, which can also use Crane+Bed+Trailer :D

I prefer 6455B just because the 6436 feels a bit sluggish at times with the balloon tires.

Me personally I think the front is ugly, and sucky front bumpers to go with the 6436

Maybe, but just maybe New model B would be better JUST of combo crane + bed, but untill i get that truck, i get others 4 trucks, which it would give me more and better adons than one tayga, so Whats The Point?

Waste of money for truck, but at least map & missions in Maine are ok

An WAY BETTER alternative to this New tayga is Caterpillar 681, even is better on tarmac at high speed, even better crane, and you can have better combo crane + side bed as having 2 trucks = cat +tayga old...

You can really finish most of the game with a level 2 obtainable truck. The Tayga 6436 is really a cheat code.

The 6455b is slightly worse in practice but I think it looks way better. It's almost a heavy truck rather than an offroad.

Your bias is showing. Also I just use a mod to get the 6445b, I did my due diligence on the B once, that was enough

The 6455b when i first started driving it fully upgraded of course some reason it was losing power for no reason in certain area's and wouldn't move so had to back up before i could go forward again not sure why it did that but the problem eventually went away. Either way i love it compared to the original appearance and sound

Ever since the first time I played this, especially with mod, I think it is one of the absolute best and most realistic vehicle games ever created- minus the fact that the trucks don’t handle at all realistically once they get up to speed or if you try to go past say 30 or 40 mph which is kind of ridiculous but I get it because they spent so much time and effort perfecting the physics of the environment and what you drive in like mud sand dry dirt wet dirt snow ice and a combination of all of those!?!!!?

It’s just an insane game and I grew up on a junkyard and grew up around bulldozers and 18 wheelers and the type of stuff that you actually do in this game and so for me this game is nostalgic as fuck without ever having a predecessor to bring me that nostalgia but instead the nostalgia comes from me reliving childhood memories growing up as my dad ran a tow truck service and *CRUSHED cars for a living and sold cars and parts and all the stuff of the sort..

Snow runner is an amazing game!!

I have the Xbox one X and I had to download it digitally as a physical copy of the game would not work at all??? I went through every single copy that three different Walmarts in two different counties had, and not one of them would even acknowledge the *DISC was in the *DISC drive?? Cyberpunk 2077 also did this but only with the second disc and thank God Xbox has a feature where you can choose to install a game before you buy it and this is how I managed to get cyberpunk to work with only the first disc being acknowledged!!

(we are living in a time where moral value is no longer taught and this is reflected in the work space that those that grew up with no moral guidance, come to run and work in and develop things that you get that on a very high ratio, are messed up and or do not work- in other words: not too long ago it was very rare to buy a product that was defective or had problems and did not work….. but nowadays it is the dominant thing you have to worry about when purchasing anything-)

In the drag race the 6455b had a crane equipped and the crane is super heavy. Not a fair race. But both trucks are great.

Love IT! The Tayga 6455B is less capable dud to smaller tires. But supports all vanilla addons with Crane+Bed+Trailer.
While the Tayga 6436 is better offroad but has less addons.
Both are great trucks. Can beat most 6x6s, they also compete exceptionally well with the vorons. Which to me are it's biggest competitors
