Als kind had ik altijd veel Brinta, vooral in de winter, later was het gewwon een paar broodjes, met kaas of hagelslag. Introduceerde hagelsag voor mijn kinderen hier in Australie voor ontbijt - they loved it

Ik ontbijt wel iedere morgen. Nadat ik het brood voor mijn dochters gesmeerd hebt. Meestal gaat er iets van hagelslag, pindakaas of vleeswaren op het brood.
Daarbij ook een glaasje melk of water. Op zondag ontbijten wij altijd met elkaar aan tafel, Mijn man bakt dan croissantjes en kaiserbroodjes af. Vaak bakt hij dan ook een eitje voor op het broodje voor ons allemaal. (5 of 6 personen) op de croissantjes smeren wij aardbeienjam of doen er een plakje kaas op.

Dit is heel good. What a great video! It’s very interesting to know the different types of breakfast Dutch people eat. I, myself, never have an appetite in the morning. Just water for starters, then coffee. Heel erg bedankt!

For breakfast, I always eat the same thing: a bowl of oatmeal with sliced apple baked in, with walnuts, raisins, and whatever berries (usually blueberries) on top. And, a mug of green tea. I remember the excellent breakfasts in the Netherlands such as roggebrood met kaas.

I see this channel is new. Otherwise I think I would have seen it before now. This is a great idea and I'm sure I will be watching more of these videos. I think I would prefer it without the English subtitles. But I like that the Dutch subtitles are larger and that makes it easier for me to follow those and not be distracted by the English subtitles. I'll be sure to tell my Dutch tutor about this channel.
