It's like you friend says it 😬 if it's locally produced. The reason why people choose business/first is baggage allowance. Before economy gave you 2 now only 1. Many Bahrainis/Saudis just travel Dubai for shopping and allowance to go back is bigger in business. If you pay extra baggage the price ends up being the same than business, so it's better and not deal with not being able to take everything or ending being more expensive. It happened to me and had to storage a bag in Dubai until my next trip.
