From what we've seen and heard from Barr, why isn't he getting accused of obstruction himself?

Directing individuals to deny congressional subpoenas demonstrates no respect for the Constitution and the rule of law.

Fox is hedging their bets. They do not want to be dragged down with the Trump train.

Manning was immediately put in jail after refusing to testify to a grand jury, I don't understand why the same thing is not being applied to anyone who refuses to show up for a legal congressional subpoena ? If they don't show up, put them in jail until they testify, same as Manning. This is not hard, this is the law. Follow it.

So I'm not the only one that can't find the "no collusion, no obstruction" part? The report I'm reading is full of failed attempts at both.

Because you try to rob a bank and only fail through incompetence doesn't mean you are not a bank robber.

Rosenstein also said last night that he'd be departing DOJ within the month, so he can't be doing this to protect his job, as some have suggested. Also, a close read of Rosenstein's speech shows much of it as hostile to the president. It's hard to tell if Rosenstein is straddling the fence or being too clever by half.

May all who knowingly commit wrongdoings be severely punished and have their greatest fears come true.

I think they should have the absolute right to do whatever is necessary if people are going to reject to testify in front of Congress, because little Donny doesn’t want them to.
Boo-hoo Donnie.

Isn't Barr himself getting close to obstruction of justice?
Isn't he a little worried about getting disbarred?

I never thought I'd say that a Fox News contributor is a better Attorney General than the actual office holder but that's where we are. Where? Through The Looking Glass!

Nothing warms my heart more than watching Trump sycophants go to jail for him.😄
There are currently so many former Trump sycophants under the bus, they all have to rollover at the same time.

It's irrelevant whether the President has the legal right to fire the Special Counsel to establish obstruction of justice.
I have the legal right to destroy or hide any of my belongings, such as my car. But if that car had possibly been involved in an armed robbery and I tried to destroy or hide it in the knowledge that investigators wanted to inspect it, I would be guilty of obstruction of justice.
