Micro Lesson #5: Quickly duplicate Webflow elements

Показать описание
Are you tired of haphazardly copying and pasting web design elements only to find they end up a the bottom of the page? Don't knock copy and paste; it's probably user error. Regardless, there's another way to create duplicate elements. Option-Drag on Mac or Alt-Drag on Windows, and let go wherever you want to place your element.

But it doesn't stop there. Not only does duplicating create a copy of the element. Oh, no. It brings over the class that was applied to the original element. That means styles can stay consistent between your original element and all the duplicated elements you can dream up.

This isn't just responsive web design. It's a magic trick. Except it's actually responsive web design. That feels like magic.

Sometimes I watch Webflow University just for the humor. You guys are great. Amazing production value. The main guy is fantastic, but I am happy to see more of your Grimur. You are a funny dude.

It will be nice if we can have cmd+D to duplicate 🤓

Ctr+D would be easier.
But i think Grìmur dragged the wrong element from the desk to canvas, that's why coffee spilled. 🤗

If you look closely at the desk, right next to the cup, like really really closely, you'll notice there's nothing to see.
