I write. All kinds of stories.

*How?*
Let me quote Ernest Hemingway: _"There is nothing to writing. You just sit down at a typewriter and bleed."_

*Why?*
Because I believe this is what I was meant to do. If I didn't do it, I would simply die because I couldn't get all these feelings out of me. I would explode. I also do it because I love to read, and I know how touching stories can be, and I want to touch my readers and move them and I want to change the way people look at the world. I want to inspire them and make them smile, laugh, cry and just _feel_. I know that stories and books can save lives, I know how much they can mean to someone, and I want to reach people through my writing. I don't want to leave this world without having done anything to leave a mark on it. I love writing and thank you, Connor, because making me write this down actually helped me. I know why I am doing this, and it makes me even more sure that I will never ever stop. <3

I'm in acting school right now in nyc and this all ive learned in the first month of being here summed up in one video. Acting is discovering and being a detective, asking why, actually doing, not pretending, not forcing, being just as passionate as the character, understanding and loving everything your character loves. When reading a play actors have an open mind any role is possible! This made me so happy!

Loved it, Connor! I've actually thought about this before. I have this little jar in my room and sometimes when I come up with a thought I want to remember, I write it down, cut it out into a little strip, and put it in the jar. One of them was along the lines of, "The most important question to ever be asked is 'why?'"

Oh my God, I really needed that today. I love how the Universe just puts things in the right places at the right times. I was pissed off and looking for a distraction and a little voice in the back of my head said "Watch Connor Franta's video you've been putting off. He always puts you in a better mood' and what-do-ya-know, it was this video that I needed at this exact moment in time. I definitely needed a reminder of WHY I'm doing these things I really don't want to do (grade papers so I can learn more/pay for college to make a difference in the world).
