A seriously underrated art film written and directed by Dagur Kári. Most critics missed it by a mile - from the first frame to the last it moves and never falters. Plot, script, actors, cinematography, music, and tone all of a piece... In time "The Good Heart" may be judged a masterpiece.

Found and watched this jewel the other day. Had never heard of it, nicely done. Bitter, sweet, straight forward, foreshadowing but it didn't bother me. Brian Cox and Paul Dano had wonderful chemistry and the supporting cast was rock steady and on point.

The film looks so much like a Ken Loach movie. That grain and color tone. Reminds me a lot of the movie The Angels' Share
