excellent video, however, I would suggest you say a bit more about the USB cable. Like, where to get one if we need one, etc. Just a bit more about the cable.

Yours has Energy Usage Monitor feature on software but mime has not. Is there a specific UPS model that supports it?

I do not have a usb connector on my APC XS 1500 only an ethernet. My Dell M6600/ Win 10 is not recognizing the unit. Says it is not connected. I just downloaded Powerchute 3.1
What could be the issue?
My unit is beeping overload whenever I turn on the ONline/batt backup etc button. Nothing is connected . My surge only receptacles are the only ones that are working right now.
I put in new batteries about 2 years ago.

Why is the downloaded file simply called "files" with no extension of any sort? What the hell am I supposed to do with this?

The fix is simple and I don't know why it can't be fixed at their end., When you download the installation file it is called "files" - rename it with an ".exe" extension and it will work. Not sure why it can't be fixed at their end.

Can't really give max review as the RJ45/USB cable isn't shipped with the product so need to go and buy or order right cable before you can install the app for it.

Why is my energy cost resetting to $0.00 everyday? Thats broken and it also never used to do that and no matter how many times i uninstall and reinstall it doesn’t help.

When I plug in the USB, it doesnt show what you said should show in device manager. Is there a link to get the USB driver?

I have a SUA1000RMI1U running and attached via USB. It is detected in the device manager as advised in the video. "files" ie. PowerChute personal edition 3.0.2 won't install. It says it cannot detect the UPS. In trying another route--- the website software section for this UPS provides "pcbesetup.exe", which installed a windows service that runs, but there is no Gui software available to access anything so it is rather useless. What am I supposed to do to?
