I stopped the install when it asked to make changes to the firewall. The old PowerChute Personal Edition kept thing simple while adding functions. At the very least, make remote access an options on install. Needing a username and password is unnecessary for the average consumer. I will keep using PowerChute until I can't.

What about hibernation? The now deprecated personal edition of powerchute allowed for hibernating desktops instead of shutting down. The business edition that this new software is based on does not allow for hibernation.

how can i open the app via local and not via browser?? and at starting of my pc, why it doesnt appear as an app?

This is really stupid for home use/users. At least app has system tray icon which uses notification system from Windows that tells you if something was wrong. From power failure, noise and so on. For gods sake, return app. If you were able to write this, you can write an app with modern UI.
Oh, and please stop telling us that you've passed to product/dev team, because you don't. No matter what we wrote or write, which has logic in it, you will keep going with this nonsense.

I have a Smart-UPS SRT 1500 at home, and I just want to check the power consumption of my AC on the PowerChute serial shut down, every time I open it it asks for user name and password its so annoying I want to throw whole apc stuff from my home away and buy other brand witch will work without login, its a dissaster, please make an app without login or website without login or I will go crazy
