Yes Kelly Flat Response !, No color from different Freq range from different speakers ! So when your use effects it can fill the freq range the effects call for ! No back ground color to cloud up your effects tone ! Awesome for guitar effects !

Headrush frfr MKII’s loudness is the equivalent of the ‘line’ level setting of the alto ts408 where as the Headrush gen 1 frfr is the ‘mic’ setting of the alto ts408. I regret selling my 1st gen to upgrade into the mkII because I cannot get my desired loudness with the later without turning the volume all the way up. MKII’s only advantage is the bluetooth and not having the unwanted bominess of the 1st gen but that’s it. I returned the MKII and just got an alto ts408 which is much more versatile. The alto ts408 has a ‘No eq’ flat setting to serve as a ‘frfr’, has an app where you can customize your own eq, bluetooth and the line/mic level setting. I haven’t tried an Alesis Strike amp 8 but just go with the alto if you have the extra $.

Not very powerful. Just bought one so I just used it in my bedroom lol but.... input volume of my headrush mx5 maxed (+12), output very high as well m, just on the edge of clipping, master volume to 10 had to turn up the frfr112 volume to 6 to hear a decent sound and it was very low. Same mx5 settings plugged in my catalyst 200W power amp input... I barely touch the volume knob and its too loud, I usually have my mx5 volune to 5, the catalyst switch too 100W and master volume at 2. And it's louder. So i'm guessing there's something wrong with ny frfr112???

I’ve tried the MKII they are nowhere near as good as the MKIs…way less power, I had to turn the MKII up to 11 to match the volume of the MKI set at 4. The MKIIs are a giant step backwards
