How to Make a Raised Faceted Star | Paul Sellers

The Lone Star motif has a direct appeal to Paul, from his living for two decades in Texas. But it is also a fine decorative eye-catcher for many furniture pieces, box tops and, so on that you might want to make too.

This project might seem complicated but, it is simple to make when you follow the steps Paul’s walking you through. Use contrasting woods as Paul did or just use pine with distinctive stripes. Both look good!

I've tried several times and failed at making one these I've made quite a few four and five point stars ever since I first watched you making them, I don't have a bandsaw so I'll have to come up with another way of doing it. Enjoyed the video definitely going to try again soon .

When Paul Sellers uses the phrase "my inaccuracies" I wasn't sure whether to feel confident or despondent about woodworking. There are times when you think I'll throw in the towel, but if a master can miscalculate there may be hope yet!
