Jelly Angler was lowkey one of the best perks imo. Iin comp alot of people were literally making boxes to store jelly fish that they would come back to heal off. I also disagree with taking a shield fish over this any day, because a max stack of shield fish heals shield ONLY, while a stack of jelly fish would heal both white and shields, as its pretty much a fishable chug splash. Made the game more interesting and a questionable choice i think.

0:29 unrelated but god damn, the lighting looked way better in Chapter 4. I used to have settings cranked all the way up, but ever since chapter 5, Lumen/RT feels like it got worse

i never forgot about the wildwasp augment because i have a MAJOR fear of bees. so much so day one of 4-3 i had a jar of wasps thrown at me and in panic i turned off my xbox. i then sat for 10 minutes trying to recover. im much better now at dealing with the fear probably due to extended exposure from that season but if you want a augment that can literaly cause someone to dc wild wasp jars are for you

6:47 I see the “Jelly Angler” augment as something useful because the fish grant you the same HP / Shield as using a chug splash (without the throwing ability but there’s still that splash radius). So it’s basically like getting free chug splashes in a way from fishing. At least that’s how I always perceived it as w/ friends.

I agree on all of this accept the jelly angler in comp if you made a hoard of jelly fish in duos in storm you could use you're current heals and then go back into storm and just sit and pop fish till storm sickness

Wild Wasp Weaponry was like really good in comp because it was a stink bomb you wouldn’t have to carry in your inventory, but in pubs where there aren’t 80 players alive in 5th zone, yeah.
ALSO JELLY ANGLER WHAT? THAT GIVES YOU INFINITE CHUG SPLASHES???? WHY IS THAT BAD?

I disagree with you on Rifle Recycle, it's not a top tier augment but it's not the worst; having to reload less often means more sustained damage! This idea was also taken from the Assault Ammo Recovery perk in Save the World, it's really useful there for AR builds and was pretty good in BR as well

Primal Companion was integral to my Chapter 4 Season 3 strat of using the cloak gauntlets while riding an animal to disguise as a wild animal and then surprise them.

Idk if anyone else remembers but there was an augment were you could be invisible in mud or something, and I would always use the mud + dinosaur and most
Players I’d fight would focus on killing the dinosaur first for some reason and the thermal was nice. It was lowkey underrated
