Force a Copy of Your Google Forms to Share With Others

Google has changed since the video was released. I found a workaround. Here it is. Do everything up to the 1:28 point in the video. NOW instead of following the rest of the video - Send an invite to a specific person to be a collaborator. Send this invite to an email account you have access to. OPEN the link sent in the INVITE and do the replacement bit at the end of THAT URL so it ends on "copy" instead of "Edit...." - And BUM, now you force anyone using THAT link to make a copy in their own account. YAY 👍👍

In the "add collaborators menu", it allows me to get a link, but the url is different from the one you show in the video. Instead of ending with "edit...." and all the stuff that follows, my url link ends with "view form" but no matter what it gives editing rights to the original form. I think Google may have changed it since this recording. I've put force copies on google docs and have not had any problems with it, but with the form it won't cooperate.

SO helpful! Once this copy is made and the other person starts filling it out, do they have to share it with us again or will it show up in the "responses" section on our original copy?

You can make a cope of the form inside google drive after that you add this copy to collaboration and send it

Just to clarify, will the person who makes the copy have access to any responses from the original?

This isn't working. Even when I change to copy it just creates a copy in the same drive. Does it matter that it's a business account in which I created it? Could they disallow this sharing to copy?

Do you know if there is a way to make it so certain parts of the form that someone copies cannot be changed?

I know this is old but I need help! When i go to add editors, it doesn't give me an option to get a link but does let me change it so anyone with a link can change it, but no link is available. :(
