Actually there is a mistake in the animation. The aircraft shown on the video is f14 tomcat, and it has swept wings, which allow it to go supersonic. For lower speed operations like landing on take-off, the jet has them "unfolded", which is shown on the video, so the aircraft is technically in the "slow mode", and it couldnt go supersonic due to drag created by wings in that position. This could even break them off.

Americans, remember when that happened in Virginia last year, the pilot of a solo plane fell asleep and the military’s ptsd from 911 kicked in and they immediately took off and their jets broke the sound barrier, it made a huge boom and it I heard some ppl in West Virginia heard it, I was home alone and it sounded like an explosion or gunshot bro, I walked outside so confused. Btw the pilots saw that the guy had just passed out and wasn’t a terrorist, unfortunately there wasn’t much they could do but make sure it crashed into a mountain rather then a populated area, the pilot died, he was the only one on the plane.
