I have been a Dire Straits fan for more than 40 years and I have seen DS / Mark Knopfler at least 12 times . I have seen him play sultans of swing at least 6 times . This version is the best cover I have ever heard really good. Keep rocking and keep playing great music . I think Mark knopfler would approve of this

Your versions of this song are always great. Please ignore the armchair critics. You guys are seriously talented. I plan to come to Germany to see one of your concerts from the UK next year, hopefully travel restrictions will be fully lifted.

This is hands down the best cover of the best version of this song i have ever heard. The playing and the tone are incredible here. Mark Knopfler is one of my all time favourite guitarists and i have been a fan of them for over 30 years, and this is about as close as it gets, but with some nice imp stuff thrown in for good measure.

Nice concert on the Koblenz Sparkasse stage. Mark recently mentioned that when getting older it becomes more and more difficult to play this somewhat more demanding guitar solo. It is all the more important that young aspiring musicians preserve the legacy of The Dire Straits.

This video appeared in my playlist by itself, and I thought that after all I could give it a try, if it's not to my taste I can zap it, after I gave it a murdering comment.
But, to my surprise, these guys are excellent and nailed it. Everything, lead guitar and other ones too, drums, keyboards, bass, vocals, is brilliant.
And, most important, you see they really enjoy what they're doing... and I have enjoyed it too 👍👍👍👍 ^^
