In my opinion, Ben Carson is the perfect man to lead our country, and why so many others don't see that is beyond me. I'll be very sad and disappointed if he doesn't end up as president. That's not to say there aren't other really great candidates, because there are, but Carson easily stands out from all the rest. He's calm, brilliant, honest, steadfast, a man of strong faith in God, and a man that I have no doubt our forefathers would have backed 110%. What more could you ask for?

This should've been titled "Watch Ben Carson get asked the same question 6 different ways"

"Let me make sure I am reading this right."  Hmmm, like a Progressive Liberal, who is this reporter?  He is trying too hard.  He asked the same question five different ways.  The media is so lame.  It's just crap.  Oh wait, he asked the same question six times.

Listening to these "elites" dismiss & belittle what the constitution says about the 2A & tyranny.
How privileged & safe must they feel that they don't even consider the importance of the 2A. Do these so called educated people really not understand the history of the entire world?
Every civilization has fell yet America is going yo be the one that doesn't? Just a matter of time.
Our founders were geniuses. Just the fact that we've been able to last as long as we have with so many different races, ethnicities etc is truly amazing.
People have no idea what real oppression and having zero opportunities due to skin color, religion, etc Is like.

They may criticize him for his calm demeanor, but when he gives an answer, it is always well thought out and makes sense.
They really do try to get him to trip over his statements though don't they?
No wonder he has to be so careful with his answers, he could probably say that the sky is blue today and the media would try and turn it into controversy.

Just wish that when he talks he would talk with more energy, enthusiasm, you know be a little more dynamic. He needs to have charisma which is something he is lacking. If he had charisma this guy would wake more people up just like Bernie Sanders and gain many more followers.

The idea that militias are the bulwark against tyranny typically begins in a faulty reading of American History. The Revolutionary War was not won by Militias, but rather the Continental Army with considerable help from the French. While it is probably an exaggeration to suggest that the Militia was completely worthless during the War, that is far closer to reality than the myth promulgated by some pro-gun advocates. And the Militias that did significantly contribute to the cause were organised by the states and represented a well-disciplined, cohesive fighting force that mirrored the Continental Army, not the minutemen of lore.

However, gun advocates claim, armed populations never have the chance to stop tyranny as they are disarmed first. There are many cases though where this is demonstrably untrue. Yemen is currently the second most heavily armed country in the world (per capita), and it is currently a battlefield between a Western dictatorship and various Jihadist organizations who have no love for a free State. Saudi Arabia and several other Arab countries are heavily armed, with what can only be described as tyrannical governments. Iraq before the 2003 US invasion is perhaps the best example. Saddam Hussein falls under any definition of a tyrannical dictator, yet the Iraqi people were very heavily armed with a gun culture mirroring that of the US. How armed a population is appears to have no empirical bearing on how free that society is.

That theory falls flat on its face I'm afraid. Why is it 29 times more likely for me to be shot in the USA than the UK?
It's simple, its the sheer amount of firearms in circulation, this is a pattern repeated throughout the developed world.
