I remember the time when he was already winning the presidency, my father got soo mad to the point that he cursed (he was a Roxas loyalist) Duterte.I was just quiet on the side but was extremely grateful that he won. I'm still grateful until now.

Him being the president is one of the best that happened in the Philippines. Though he is sometimes unruly on his words. He did bring much change in the Philippines. I still can clearly remember the day he won the election. People in my area (which was a squaters area full of criminals too) went out cheering for the new president. Haha even the rugby boys were all running and jumping around to cheer for him. Shouting "here comes change here comes change!" Everyone was teasing each other while doing so because they knew they have to start changing too.
And indeed the streets felt safer even at night when he sat as a president. Even my trust for the other government agencies also was gained back because of the actions he did in trying to clean the government agencies.
