Learn Julia with Us 01: Getting started with Julia

Learn Julia with Us is a workshop series by Julia Gender Inclusive taught by Kyla McConnell and Julia Müller. In this first workshop, we cover what Julia is, what makes it so exciting as a programming language, and why you might want to learn it! Together, we'll install Julia and look at how to work with the package ecosystem. Then, we'll get acquainted with some developer environments for the best programming experience.
