Does the mirena cause fluid retention, weight gaine, and mood changes? I had the depo-provera and I suffered it all and it took me almost a years to start feel better not normal 100% but better. I'm scared because I hated the feeling of being out of control of my body

I have had my iud for over 6 months although i did get a few weeks with no endo pain i have now been on my period everyday since i got it inserted, endo pain is back period its getting heavy again and it has also triggered my alopecia

I had the merena coil fitted, it's really uncomfortable especially when lying down or when sitting down. I am using a hot water bottle for the discomfort is there anything else that I can do to ease the pain please

I had a baby back December 3rd 2022 I got the Mirena on the 14th of August 2023 and I still have it in my periods are still so bad I’ve it in just 5 month I got it checked it’s still there and in the right place do u think I should stick it out or just wait I’ve been non stop bleeding since my child maybe 4 weeks of no bleeding since him

That's going to scare me if my periods would stop completely. I'd get a heart attack, no matter how much science you throw at me. But the iud is a great option for most women, not alot of hormone etc.

The iud helped me with heavy painful periods. It was such a relief not to worry about it anymore. I don’t plan to have any more kids
