Fr. Jeffrey Langan, Ph.D., Ph.D. is a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, and presently serves in Cambridge, MA. Before his ordination, he was Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Liberal Studies at Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, prior to which he taught at the University of Notre Dame. Fr. Langan earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, and prior to that he earned a Ph.D. in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He studied Classics at Columbia University, and History at Marquette University.

This was a great talk. I believe the prophecies are all true. I believe our Mother has given us the answers. I believe some of the faithful are trying to do the prayer, fasting, and sacrificing out of fear or self-preservation. When really, our Mother gave us these tools so that we do them out of love for our brethren. That in our sacrifice for them and trying to unite our own sacrifice to God's that we might participate in their conversion; not for our sake of self-preservation, but for their sake of salvation. It was so then, it is so now, and will be tomorrow all for the bringing about the reuniting of God's children to their Father because of how much our Father loves. Who wouldn't want to participate in this ultimate good?

Very few people ever did the Saturday Devotion, a very specific request. People are learning about it today but I Never heard of it until the last few years and i went to Catholic School. We were told about the First Friday devotion but not Saturday.

Yes, the POPES have been slow in doing what Mary directed, BUT WE .... we have NOT DONE what Mary asked of US! FASTING, PRAYER, REPARATION, THE ROSARY! So WE are to blame in, perhaps, a larger way! If WE DID what was ASKED of US, including praying for the Popes, PERHAPS the Consecration, CONVERSION, would have been done correctly by now! So instead of pointing fingers at others....every individual needs to start with themself!

Regarding the consecration of Russia, a lot is said of the pope’s actions but little of the request by laity to do the first Saturday devotion.
Are we missing this point and should a great emphasis now be on this devotion?

By late July 3023, Ukraine has devolved to the point where, if Russia holds territory gained, NATO will collapse. Also, because of the Western betrayal of the Minsk Accord, the destruction of the Nordstream pipelines, and of that large hydroelectric dam, Russia is not about to relinquish what used to be Eastern and southern Ukraine in exchange for Western promises.

A war can only end in one of two ways. Either one side thoroughly destroys the other, or both sides work out something at the negotiations table.

For now, negotiations don’t seems possible. Maybe if the US has a change in leadership in 2024, that will help break this log jam.
