Girl, I wish I could have found this video BEFORE I fially tossed my orchid. I watered it with the correct mixture of food, and changed the bark, snd put it in indirect sun, in an east window, that had access to moisture. It grew wonderful air roots, but didn't bloom for almost three years. it was blooming when I purchased it, but never again. I even bought a pretty pot with nice decorative holes in it. I may try again later, but I will have to do more studying Orchids..

As a banana grower sice three years old, you don't need a microwave, just chop up the peels add water and you are good to go . The microwave kills the nutrients.

What!! Dont you know how much poison these peels are filled with just to keep the bananas fresh during transport? How long have you done this?
