REVIEW OF THE SEIKO PROSPEX SAMURAI 'BLACK SERIES' SRPH11K1

Apologies it took a while to get this video uploaded. I have been sick after catching a bug from the kids...so sorry in advance for the bunged-up voice!

Anyway, after the huge interest & demand for this watch as part of our subscriber special offer, I thought you might like a full review of the watch. Enjoy!!

This watch is part of the Seiko "Black Series" & is a limited production run of 8,000 pieces. Each watch has it's production number etched on the caseback.

Finished in a heavy PVD, this substantial watch has excellent legibility due to the heavy Lumi Brite fill on the large hour markers & hands. As a Prospex Divers model, the watch has 200m water-resistance, a screw-down crown & a hardlex crystal.

If you have the right-sized wrist, then this watch is a stunner! - after some time to reflect, the Samurai is akin to a Japanese version of the Panerai Models. It's big, bold & built like a tank!!

Nice piece. I'm a big wrist guy so these units fit well for me. But I'm afraid once I went King, I couldn't go back, plus I need the cyclops.

I do like the samurai but they're a little too big for me unfortunately, wish they'd make a mini one like they did with the turtle.

What color is that piece of bezel, I can't ever tell if it's brown, green, grey, rust, idk.
