Seiko really outdid themselves with this modern interpretation of the iconic 1982 H558-5009 nicknamed the "Arnie" because Arnold Schwarzenegger wore it in at least two of his most famous action movies: Commando & Predator. Guys getting this watch is a no brainer!

I’m a huge Seiko fan and I have over a half-dozen seiko divers. I bought the new Solar Arnie/PADI last week and I love it! Guess I’m just lucky, but fortunately the bezel clicks right to the center of the noon mark. I put on a black/chrome NATO and I love all the features that you showed on the video. This watch wont stay long in my WatchBox. Thanks for the review.

It's crazy that Seiko still allows the bezel alignment issue to remain unsolved !

I got a STO Turtle last week and the bezel did exactly the same thing. That's a no go for me. It's being returned asap.

Im actually getting mine tomorrow! Im so freaking happy seiko reissued this classic time piece! The iconic Arnie watch! I was hoping and wishing that they do! And they abviously heard our payers! You see! I did owned the original arnie way back in 1984, and i loved it! The stile is timeless! Had it for around 11 year's, changed the batteries about 3 times, but after 11 year's of abuse! Like swiming, diving, and the other abuse of scratches. Like bumping into rocks, walls and so on! It started to malfuntion, like the lcd screen was starting to fade, finally the batterie died, so i put it away. But on the process of moving from house to house! I lost it! Never to be seen again! If i knew then what i know now! I would have taken way better care of it! They are worth a small fortune now! But that's life for you! It gives you a learning lesson. This one is going to be as collectible as the original! A true gem! I definetly will take way better care of this one in the future, can't wait to get it on my wrist! Cool review! A stunner of a watch! Gotta be the best non-automatic at the moment. Gotta say though mate - that misaligned bezel... I'd be sending it back for a replacement

I found this video to set my parnie. Didn't want to break out the manual. I never turned my bezel. I turned it to see if it lined up, it lines up perfectly. No misalignment. Very little play. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I also own skx models. They line up perfectly also. I think the misaligned bezels are few and far between.

Why do you accept misaligned bezel? It's not a cheap $50 watch. It's pretty pricey for pretty basic quartz. Mine SNJ027 is on the way, if it's gonna be misaligned I'll return it without hesitation. I'll no longer handle Seiko quality control issues.

Hardlex Crystal with quartz movement. I rather get the Citizen Promaster dive watch. Cheaper I think.

I just bought it but even if I charge it, it stops working when it gets out of the sunlight. How do I fix it? Should I charge it for extended time? Thanks

The screw pushers don't help water resistance, they just stop you pushing them under water... So leave them alone unless you're actually hopping in the water.

Has Seiko trade marked the misaligned bezel and chapter ring yet? It seems to be what they are known for. Perhaps they could come out with one of their limited edition The Limited Edition Seiko Arnie Padi Crooked Chapter Ring Special Edition. Well done Sucko, I mean Seiko.
