This is the easiest bread you will make as it requires no kneading, only just mixing the ingredients and then shaping!INGREDIENTS
 500 g (1 pound) flour;
 150 ml (5 fl. oz) warm milk;
 150 ml (5 fl. oz) warm water;
 1 tsp salt;
 2 tbsp dry yeast;
 3 tbsp olive oil;
 chopped parsley, chili flakes.

METHOD

 Whisk flour with salt and yeast. Add warm water and milk and knead just until liquids absorb.
 Add olive oil and knead until smooth dough forms (around 10 minutes).
 Form the dough into a ball, cover with vegetable oil and set aside in warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
 When the dough is done rising, cut it into 6 and roll each piece into a ball.
 Roll out each flatbread and place on a pan preheated on medium-high heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes (2.5-3 minutes on each side). When you flip each flatbread it should rice up to make a pocket in the middle.
 Brush each hot flatbread with oil, then top with parsley and chili flakes.

Here is a tip from a turkish person: put feta cheese mixed with parsley before folding it to square. We call it 'gozleme' and it is amazing.

I have made this recipe many times and LOVE IT!
For those who do not have scale/use metric, here are the quantities:

3 3/4 C Flour
1 TSP Salt
2 TBLS Yeast
2/3 C Warm water
2/3 C Warm milk
3 TBLS Olive oil

This dough is completely unpretentious. No strenuous kneading, no regimented stages of mixing. Sometimes I make it by hand, like in the video, other times I run it through the dough cycle of my bread machine. Also--the dough will wait for you. I've actually put this dough in the refrigerator in its covered bowl for 48 hours and still made great flatbreads. I also use this same dough to make pizza. One batch makes about 2 medium pizza crusts, depending on how thick you like it, etc.

For flatbreads, as I remove from heat and brush with butter, I sprinkle with smoked paprika, turmeric, and oregano. A plate of this bread never lasts longer than an hour, so I have no idea how it keeps, lol.

How warm is "warm"? For those who don't bake a lot of bread, yeast is generally happy to wake up and get busy in temperatures similar to a human's bath--105-110 degrees Fahrenheit.

These flatbreads work extremely well as pizza bases too - just a heads up, from my belly to yours.

NOTE: This is also known as Bazlama, you can enjoy this in brekafast, lunch and dinner. Better served hot and accompanied by various side dishes such as humus.

Many restaurants will go out of business once this is over because everyone now knows how to cook.

I tried making this today and yes, it is so soft... And easy to make. The only bread that is easy to make. One of these breads totally fills you 👍 I added a few drops of ghee/clarified butter on the top so it had a very nice aroma. I added salt only in the end to not inactivate the yeast. Thanks for the recipe.

I made these this evening. Halved the recipe and still made six decently large ones. Excellent flavour. I used a blend of wholemeal and some soft white flour. Thanks for the recipe/method.

For those of you who are worried about the weight you're putting on during quarantine, let's not forget the people who don't have enough to eat. The people in massive lines at the pantry. The elderly people who are too afraid to go out because of the virus. Life is too short. Eat what you want in moderation and be happy...you can always lose the weight later.

Stay home, stay safe.

Exactly what I kneaded. Sunday night and the fridge was bare, except for a few slices of ham. This saved my life as I can put the ham in it. I'm sitting here waiting for it to rise. Thanks for the recipe.
