The problem is, people expect ChatGPT to do 100% of the article using stupid short prompts. I write my entire article first, then ask ChatGPT to rewrite it, it maintains all my inputs, my voice, it just restructures it, corrects spelling and grammar and fills in blanks where I was a little thin. If people would use it as a tool, and not a crutch, we wouldn’t be having these problems. Some bad apples ruin it for the rest of us.

It's not exactly a database, Imagine ChatGPT is like a super-smart toy that has read lots of books and websites. It's like the toy remembers the main ideas but can't look at the books again. So when you ask it something, it tries to help you based on what it "remembers." That's my take on it... :)
