Yes. Willow is a higher producer, but more difficult to cultivate. Hemp is a multipurpose crop who’s hurds can be used for energy. You can also break it down with a gassifier and convert to methanol which hopefully in the future will have very efficient fuel cells.

how does harvest plant promote pesticide use? if that is the case then wouldnt that be a concern in not only to burn plants but to harvest them to eat? I dont understand how this is different from fossils or are you saying that the carbon dioxide from fossils cannot be reabsorbed by the plants?
