CBC working party begins engagements in 47 counties

The high cost of the competency based curriculum, inadequate preparedness among teachers and lack of involvement by parents are among issues that arose on the first day of public hearings conducted by the presidential working party on education reforms. During sittings in Kwale and Migori, parents and education stakeholders questioned the sustainability of the competency based curriculum. And as Stephen Letoo reports, the CBC taskforce is supposed to collect views across the country before submitting a report to the president.
