Why is #UIKit better than #SwiftUI ? for #iOSDevelopment
UIKit has been around longer and can do everything.
SwiftUI only came out 3 years ago, it’s still trying to catch up in terms of features.
The second version of SwiftUI couldn’t choose photos from your library or have an alert with a text box. You had to reach back to UIKit!
SwiftUI 3 has finally fixed these, but there’s plenty of features here and there that are still missing.
