I like everyone is dancing when Jake wins the bet. Even Rosa gets in on it despite not being a “fun” person. She was invested in this bet as much as Boyle was.

I like how when you first watch this show you assume Jake has a crush on Amy and Amy doesn't like him at all, that's why he'd name it for his prize for winning the bet. I don't know what happened in the writers room but perhaps they realised it was a little creepy for a guy to do this. I mean for that to be the actual intent, Jake would have to like Amy, ask her out, she says no, he doesn't learn to drop it and name it for the terms of his bet. They then go on to have an actual romance. When in actual fact Jake just wanted to prank Amy for a night. Maybe the writers did think it was creepy, maybe the writers wanted to subvert audience's expectations, or maybe they wanted to play around more with Jake's pending feeling for Amy more. IDK but I liked how it ended up unfolding.

One time, before we learned the origins of the bet, Amy goes on a date with a guy and Jake is there and tries to ruin it. At this point we assume he likes Amy and doesn't want her dating people. In fact he just wants to prank her and leaves once he's done for Amy to enjoy her date, it was just interesting what the show did.
