You're not doing something for Jesus - you're doing something for Trump.

Evangelical Christians should read the very First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”

I guarantee you Trump could not recite one verse in the Bible if asked. The real Christians out there like Jimmy Carter actually know the Bible and practice what it suggests.

oh dear... For all the non-christians out there, please don't think all christians go for this. I can hardly believe what is said here...

My mother is convinced I've "stepped away from faith." I dont know how to tell her that my faith is actually pretty damn strong - I just stepped away from the church. While people like this are claiming to be Christians, I want nothing to do with organized religion. I'll worship my way.

Religion should be kept out of government.

Sorry. Country was NOT FOUNDED ON CHRISTIAN VALUES... The Native Americans was forced from this land and/or made to sell this land. Christianity was a FORCED religion by outsiders. Do your history check. And religion should not be FORCED on other people.

FYI Rome lasted for about 1000 years, it collapsed about 100 years after it officially adopted Christianity and started suppressing other religions.

As a Christian, it breaks my heart too to see Gods word used in this way….we’re suppose to be our brother’s keepers not enemies. I understand politically we think there are different ways to solve problems… but this violence and hatred aren’t going to get us anywhere and it’s absolutely not what Jesus Christ wants for us. When you look through the eyes of compassion and love everything changes….

I have arrived in America relatively recently, and to put it mildly, I am shocked, Christians have placed their hopes not in Jesus, but in a man, yesterday in my church they called for voting for Trump, in my previous country I have never encountered such a thing.

Bizarre - Those Trump family values that are so Christian-like ! Alternate reality.

You can’t force Jesus into a country or government. An individual chooses to let Him into his/her heart.

I thought the Bible warned against false idols

Let's see here, these people ( religious ) are told what to think, they are told what to read and what book to read, they are told what to say, They are told how to dress, they are told to give their money, they are told who to worship, and so on. That fully fits the definition of a cult.
