This was one of my favorite episodes because these two were such a delight to watch on their "house hunt". They are both so sweet and David seemed to appreciate their "chill personalities" too. I wish them happiness in their new home.

I spent my career as a Mental Health Therapist at Western State Hospital (WSH) and lived on Anderson Island.
After retiring I couldn’t wait to move out of all that rain, traffic.
We now live in the mountains in north central Washington.
It rains in the spring and fall and then 5-7 feet of snow in the winter.
My summers are filled with gardening, water sports, fishing and hiking.
Winters are about skiing and sledding and of course plowing our private road of the 5-7 feet of snow.

The view is nice but in a few years when those trees get bigger I don't think they're going to see much water anymore.( speaking from experience ) With that being said the yard itself was by far the nicest with the most privacy, already having solar panels, pond, grapes, gazebo. I'm glad they made the stretch.

I sympathize with the desire for a ground floor master. My legs are not in great shape.

That 1st house was gorgeous. I am glad they went for it. I would have picked that as well

House 3 has the best view... the best kitchen... the cheapest... and perfect size for family of 4.... the garden was better kept... but I guess they don't like having neighbours nearby. I wonder how they gonna keep and maintain their new house...the guy is already talking about first floor master bedroom.

I would chose the last house...having money in my bank acc is way better than having a wonderful property....unless am rich and can afford the property and having a full bank account.

It was pretty obvious which one they were going to pick. I knew house #3 was a no-go. The base in Oak Harbor makes a lot of noise, and also keeps a lid on property values.

Whidbey Island is an absolutely stunning place. They were a sweet couple. They picked a beautiful property.
