Do you have any favorite dystopian books?

Have you read "City of Embers"? And if so, what did you like about it and what did the author do well in that story. Likewise, another book is "The road" by Cormac Mccarthy. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these.

We just read Fahrenheit 451 in school, and it was good. It was different to other modern dystopia I've read (of course it's in the past, but it didn't really get too dystopian for me until the last half)
