Smokey came in with slight squinting and redness which wasn’t resolving even after 3 weeks of medical management.
Upon careful examination, we discovered a small fluorescein stain uptake on the cornea and found a huge nonhealing corneal ulcer with loose epithelium when derided with cotton bud (of course after instilling topical anesthesia).
We also placed a bandage contact lens to help with the healing. In just a week, his corneal ulcer has healed completely and the eye is on the path of recovery! 🐾✨
