My poor baby Oliver’s eyes are not healing post cherry eye surgery. Yes, I bought him comfy cones yet immediately changed them once I uncovered that he did exactly what you raised. It’s been 14+ days. His brother also just passed due to a stupid food recall. It’s killing me to see him like this. Bought the fancy anti-inflammatory manukora honey, colloidal silver, Darwin raw pet food, massage therapy while wearing the cone. I feel helpless. I did this for his quality of life. The blood serum didn’t work either and it as allegedly a level 1 ulcer. Has had the plastic Elizabethan cone on for over a week straight. I just want my happy puppy back. Please help. 🙏😓he’s a sweet chiweenie.

I took our girl to a vet and they gave her eye drops with steroids we went to get a second at a different opinion and said that was the worst thing to do. Here eye looks so bad it hurts seeing her hurting . We are hoping for the best with the new eye medication they gave her and hopefully her eye wont be damaged

My dog has an non healing ulcer. We took her to the vet and they said it was just a scratch and gave us steroids. Well it made it worse. We made an appointment for an oncologist for her and there was a 2 month wait. We had the appointment today and the vet actually numbed her up. My dog is very crazy so they shot her up with something to calm her down. 20 min later she was a different dog. Not in the way I felt comfortable, the dr then cut grids in her eye. My dog was extremely loopy and high . It’s been 8 hours and she is now less high but still loopy . Can’t walk without wobble. It’s night time and she randomly gets up walks to the kitchen then starts crying. I had to lay with her for an hour after giving drops. She’s fine now but she is very fragile at this point. Let’s hope this works

How long would a complicated ulcer in a diabetic dog take to heal? How about a simple corneal ulcer in a diabetic dog?

My dog has a corneal ulcer and also an ongoing inflammation so the vet gave an antibiotic drop, corticosteroid drop and a fibrinolytic drug she told me to put the corticosteroid drop only for three days and the other drop for a week .

My dog was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer last week by a Veterinary ophthalmologist. I am beside myself in grief as it does not look like it's getting better. She told me to expect it to take a long long time. Is she correct? I'm feeling very very discouraged and she mentioned something possibly down the line about a procedure called diamond burr. 😢

My dog had a cyst removed from her eye lid and we were given neo-poly-dex ointment for the stitches in her eyelid. They did not do the dye test and now her eye ball is bad. I feel so terrible and regret doing the surgery. I did it to make her feel better and now she is worse off than before.

My dogs eyes are white and can't see anything. I am using Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone eye drops 3drops× 2 times . Also giving antibiotics as prescribed by the vet it's been 4 days I can't see any improvement 😢. My dog is 8 yrs old . How much time will it take to recover dr ? I am really worried.

My 5 year poodle has an ulcer in the right eye and the vet said his tear prodction is low so they gave eye drops and did a procedure for ulcer it gor better but its coming back why does it come back

My dog has eye inflection and the vet said it has ulcer and she gave eye drop with sterile in it and when we went check up she said his eyes not healing so she scraped the surface of the eyes and he looked worsen now… it already cost me almost $400!!!😢thinking to get another opinion

My dog has a superficial corneal ulcer so our vet gave us eye drops and eye lubricant but after I've put it in he gets white snot looking discharge in his eye and when theres a lot I'll gently wipe it out is it just discharge from the abrasion or is it the gel?

I have two puppies and they are 1 month old . Yesterday morning when i opened them the females one eye was closed and swelled today the swell was finished but the eye had a cloudy appearance. Idk if it is corneal ulser or other issue can you plz guide me
