The dream of ultra-fast aircraft capable of crossing continents in just a couple of hours is not a new one. However, today we are closer than ever before to actually making it a reality!
While Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and other aviation giants are working on expanding the production of American hypersonic missiles, Boom Technology with their supersonic demonstrator XB-1 is trying to bring passenger flights to a practical level!
But will this device be safe and stable enough? And most importantly, are we ready for such technologies? We invite you to come with us and find out!

I grew up in Palmdale CA. Spent many days roofing in Edward's AFB. Saw Space Shuttle land on dry lake several times. It gives you the chills to see it overhead, fighter jet escort And come in smokin. Awesome

Her parents' incredible legacy instilled in me the belief that barriers can be broken and dreams can be achieved. The spirit of this video resonates with me as I pass the baton to the next generation of aviators.

Concorde did have that issue with debris on runway puncturing the tire, then debris and tire puncturing fuel tanks in wing, . But by then the novelty of flying in Concorde was wearing off, I don't think I would trust a aircraft designed solely on a computer, especially by a start up company, there are so many design standards developed by years of testing and real world applications, my father worked on Concorde, TSR2, BAE Lightning, then we moved to America were he worked on Gulfstream, Challenger. So he new a thing or two about designing aircraft, but the wings were his passion and specialty.

I remember hearing sonic booms when I was a kid

People say "Breaking the Sound Barrier" like the boom is a single event. The bow wave running across the ground track of the aircraft is a continuous process during supersonic flight. The bow wave is perceived as a boom as it passes a given point on the ground.

Building and designing this aircraft is a fantastic hobby if you can afford it or have investors to support it. In the end, if it is successful, it will only serve the very rich who have already caused the cost of international travel to rise to hights which make it too expensive for the lower working class. Safety, comfort and the abilty to serve everyone is what's most important. Speed is just a reaction to anxiety, we know that as automobile drivers.

Think fire safety and keep all the aircraft fully safe. I know it’s not easy but let it become real and stay real. 🎉😊

Like the info. Just one question regarding turbine engine optimization.
I remember reading something regarding Tesla's turbine style of engine that didn't require blades that are susceptible to catastrophic failure if anything enters it.
The engine consisted of a series of discs instead blades.
The concept was based on the principle that air (wind) does share a lot of the same physical properties as water.
I don't recall exactly how it works, just that the discs draw the air in, with it circulating between them.
Is this a factual possibility, or is this just smoke and mirrors?

Worked on a jet at Phantom Works smoked all the planes they claim today.

Its old tech i guess. It was underground due to huge maintenance costs and fuel consumption

No cross argument(s) but please clarify & explain, where & how have these Companies as mentioned, hv acted upon to improve what we had in the form of Concord Aircrafts? What exactly are improvements that hv come in 'fresh' & are d "critical NEW differentiators"??... Did you get the query? Its a simple question for all interested sundry to understand.

Very expensive high technology and only approx 70 passengers = each ticket will be astronomical. = only a selected few can afford. However we need to start somewhere and as time goes on, =cheaper to operate
