It looks like these can be ordered online now. I will update these links as new retailers become available.

I get that Lutron is the big boss in town when it comes to this devices... but man 70 bucks per switch is crazy.

Too bad pico does not have full dim control.

Great video, very informative - thank you for posting!

Dimmers without a neutral wire tend to cause buzzing when dimmed for many LED lights. Learned that the hard way. I only buy caseta with neutral wire and have never had an issue since.

I wish there was a way to program the single-press of the paddle to go to the same level as the middle button on the old remote.

Any idea why the Caseta won't work with the Harmony remote? The Harmony finds the Lutron hub and goes out to my Lutron account but then says it can't find any devices connected to the Lutron hub. I have one switch and one pico remote connected to the Lutron hub and they work but they don't work with the Harmony remote.

Today I spoke with Luton and they are releasing tomorrow a new dimmable smart light switch DVRF-5NE-WH in this line that is supposed to work with most LED lighting (not just screw in LED light bulbs)

Would one remote be able to control three switches? Like if I have the remote near the entry/exit of my home, I can just hit one remote to turn off or on those three switches on the other side of my house?

Is there a way to go back to Dim mode once you press the Remote a Second time to get to full brightness?

so if you did add this to a current 3 way switch? you could have 3 switches controlling 1 light??/

Hi, great video. Lutron makes so many options it can be confusing to decide what to use for each room. Can you make a video where you provide a recommendation setup for each room in a typical house?

Sent to Lutron:

I am a long time supporter and purchaser of your products. To be brief I think you are making a huge mistake in the way that you have implemented secondary switches on the diva smart switch when paired with either the wired secondary switch or the newly announced diva pico remote.

The paddle and the slider are a nice addition but the inability to dim or brighten the light that is being controlled by the main diva smart switch is a colossal mistake in my opinion.

It’s highly likely that in a large room or in a top and bottom stairs arrangement of the switches the lamp level is not going to be where you want it to be. Yes being able to double tap to bring to full brightness is a help for safety reasons but it’s a completely undesirable result when trying to set the tone for the room.

In a large room having to walk 25 feet to get to the switch with the slider is absolutely ridiculous! So then the only current solution is to use one of the traditional PICO remotes to solve that problem. Not a terrible solution but kind of kludgy when you look at the overall plan for how these units should work together.

Ideally one could pair a diva smart switch with the paddle type secondary remote and have dim and brighten capability no matter what the setting of the slider may be.

I think your mistake is that you were using the main switch with the slider as the functional primary for setting brightness when it in fact it is only one element of a larger system. Because of wiring limitations the location of the main switch may not even be the most used location!

Imagine a particular fixture that is controlled by a main diva smart switch and then three other secondary pair paddle remotes. Only one of the switches can selectively control the brightness???

That makes no sense at all. I would suggest that you make a firmware update to solve this problem or make it a configuration option in terms of how the switch works.

This functionality is a showstopper for me.

My house is full of smart bulbs. I wa t a simple paddle switch to replace my dumb toggle switch so ppl stop disabling my smart bulbs when they turn off the toggle switch. Some existing toggle switches are 4 gang units and I don't want to have to hire an electrician. Suggestions?
