You have only taken out the red wires from the switch and black wire was all the time connected to switch then at the end from where you got the extra black wire to insert in line?

Not sure if you can help but my current set up is 2 gang with one live wire which is daisychained to the other and,

two neutral wires, I’m not sure how should I install it do join both the neutral wires and put it into N?

hmm if the switch is off and we still can use app to on but the mode is on? and how can we start if no app active?
