I said this on another video and I'll say it here. It's like Apple engineers consulted a master magician and they collaborated to make this. They've made the perfect laptop. It beats out all other laptops at the price point for display resolution, performance, and battery life. There's no point in buying something else at this price point.

I traded my 2019 Macbook Pro 13 i5 in for this. Runs a million times better. I was amazed.

I haven't owned or really used a computer since like 2011, well about 2 weeks ago this M1 MacBook Air changed that! I realized whenever I got a new iPad I would always try to use it as a mini laptop, this time around I said you know what let me just go for it. I do not regret my new M1 one bit :)

I think the mac air M1 is the best value, I got the 512 GB, 8 GPU, and 8GB memory. Initially was worried about getting only 8GB memory but it is surprising fast and so smooth. Bonus that it runs Lightroom 5 so still don't need to do the adobe subscription. :) The keyboard is awesome, battery charges up super fast, love the sound of the speakers and it has a beautiful display.

I believe your comments about how well it runs on 8GB of RAM, but I have been traumatized in the past resorting to 32GB, that I just feel insecure with the 8GB, especially since I ran this Macbook Air for 7 years, and somehow files just seem to get bigger and bigger. And it's a permanent decision, so I went with 16GB as a security blanket.

I like your channel, and have been watching you for years. I'm sorry I listened to you about the 8GB of RAM. I'm lucky I was in the holiday return window because the 8GB was horrible for me, and I'm a casual user. Plus, you didn't even mention future proofing. Telling people to just get 8GB of RAM is bad advice. I got the 16GB of RAM, and much happier.
